Gabby set for yet more heartbreak in Emmerdale as seduction attempt is rejected
This girl walks right into red flags

Gabby Thomas (Rosie Bentham) has an awful track record when it comes to romances in Emmerdale – and things aren’t getting any better for her in upcoming episodes.
Her most recent relationship drama came in the form of Vinny Dingle (Bradley Johnson). Their journey together was cute and wholesome, but things started to change after Vinny spent the day with Kammy Hadiq (Shebz Miah).
After trying to kiss his best mate, Vinny went on a journey of self discovery that ultimately led to the conclusion that he likes men. He remained in his marriage with Gabby for a little while, but things came to an end as Gabby realised she was constantly worrying about what Vinny was up to.
Prior to Vinny, there was Nicky Miligan (Lewis Cope). As well as secretly being gay, Nicky was forced into a relationship with Gabby as part of Caleb Miligan’s (William Ash) plan to destroy Kim Tate (Claire King).
There was also Jamie Tate, and I definitely don’t need to explain why things with him went awry.
Oh, and does anyone else remember physiotherapist Kit, who had a dalliance with Laurel Thomas (Charlotte Bellamy)…but also Gabby at the same time?!
It looks like history is going to repeat itself for Gabby soon as she ends up making eyes at another Emmerdale resident – who also happens to be interested in her stepmum.

The person in question is jack of all trades, master of none Ross Barton (Michael Parr). When he isn’t working as a detective on the investigation to find the Sugden farmland firestarter, Ross works as Director of Operations up at Home Farm.
A glorified PA to Kim, basically.
Gabby’s eyes have lit up seeing Ross at Home Farm, and it probably has something to do with the fact he regularly wanders around in a white vest as opposed to being amazed at his DIY skills.
Hopes for a possible fling increase for Gabby when Ross asks her to meet up with him tomorrow. While under the impression that Ross is flirting, Gabby heads to The Hide and discovers – much to her annoyance – that she’s been assigned as Sam Dingle’s (James Hooton) new dance partner.
During the afternoon, Laurel spots Ross eyeing Gabby and firmly warns him off her. Ross senses Laurel’s annoyance, and wanders away treating that as a small victory.

Having seen Ross watch the dance class, Laurel assumes that he’s still looking at Gabby and confronts him. Later, Ross alludes to the fact it isn’t Gabby he’s attracted to, as he glances over at Laurel while talking to Sam about his non-existent social life.
As things with Ross and Laurel start to develop, Gabby tells Lewis Barton (Bradley Riches) that she fancies Ross.
She then decides to act on her feelings by trying to seduce Ross at Home Farm while dressed in gown.
Ross kindly but firmly rejects Gabby’s advances, and she’s left terribly embarrassed.
Ah Gabby, you’ll find someone eventually.
