Next week on EastEnders, the Square is rocked when the news spreads about Zoe’s shock death. As the Slater family await answers, Kat struggles to cope with the tragedy.
Meanwhile, Penny decides to tell Vinny the truth about her baby’s paternity but suddenly goes into labour.
Here’s our round-up of all the big moments to watch out for.
1. Kat discovers Zoe’s body
Having found Zoe’s body, Kat goes into a state of shock and keeps the tragic discovery to herself. However, Kat is unable to hide the truth for long and Alfie learns that Zoe is dead.
Meanwhile, Jean, Mo and Lily are unaware of what’s happened and prepare to move out of No 31 following their eviction. As the trio arrive at The Vic, they receive the horrible news.
2. Kat struggles to cope
As Zoe’s family reel in the wake of her death, Kat is unable to face reality and locks herself away.
Later, Kat finds a confidante in Oscar, who attempts to comfort her by sharing Tanya’s journey after Abi’s death.
Kat returns to The Vic and interrupts the family holding a vigil for Zoe in her bedroom. Upset by the gathering, Kat demands everyone get out.
3. News spreads about Zoe
The community is stunned by Zoe’s death.
The news hits particularly hard with the last person who saw her alive. Which resident had this tragic interaction?
4. Kat receives shocking news
Alfie unsuccessfully tries to get Kat to open up but she continues to shut him out.
When Zoe’s postmortem results arrive, Kat is shaken by what they reveal and is desperate for answers.
Meanwhile, Sharon comforts Kat. In a bid to help, she suggests they ask Jack for a favour but she’s shocked by what the evidence has uncovered.
5. Oscar pushes Josh away
Urged by Patrick to reach out, Oscar approaches Josh to discuss Zoe’s death. Before long, the pair give into their feelings and share a kiss.
In the aftermath, Oscar grapples with his feelings for Josh and decides that the only way forward is to end their friendship.
6. Penny makes a decision about Vinny
Penny is concerned when she begins to experience labour pains, but her mind is put to rest when she’s reassured by the hospital that everything is fine.
Meanwhile, Vinny’s family prepare to celebrate his 3oth birthday party. Lauren clocks that Penny’s mind is elsewhere, and Penny confides that she’s decided to tell Vinny that he might not be the baby’s dad.
Lauren urges her to reconsider, but Penny is adamant that it’s the right thing to do.
7. Penny goes into labour
During Vinny’s party, Penny heads outside after Suki upsets her. She’s stunned when her waters break.
Meanwhile, Vinny remains oblivious to Penny’s predicament. Harry and Gina do their best to sober him up and get him to the hospital in time for the birth. Thankfully, Vinny makes it to the hospital as Penny gives birth to a baby boy.
8. Penny is confronted
After giving birth, Penny reveals to Lauren that she’s changed her mind and decided to keep the truth from Vinny, unaware that someone has been listening in on their conversation.
Later, Penny and Vinny’s families come together for the Naam Karan for the new arrival. Penny is approached by the person who overheard her chat with Lauren but in confronting Penny, another secret is uncovered.
