Emmerdale lines up Cain Dingle arrest drama – and Moira is furious
But will Moira find out the truth about what happened?

Emmerdale spoilers follow.
Emmerdale‘s Cain Dingle is locked up overnight for being drunk and disorderly next week, after he’s caught urinating by the roadside.
Since his prostate cancer operation, Cain is struggling to get to grips with his body’s changes. He’s mortified to be arrested for something he has no control over, but won’t tell Moira the truth about what happened. Will he be able to open up?
“The reason for Cain’s arrest is another huge blow to his identity,” explains our Emmerdale insider. “Violent Cain’s reputation precedes him! He used to get arrested for all manner of crimes, but now this latest caution completely shatters his sense of self.”
This shock turn of events occurs just as Cain reaches a recovery milestone and has his catheter removed. With the doctors happy with the healing process, Cain triumphantly heads to the Woolie to celebrate with his brother Caleb.
As Cain downs the pints, Caleb’s aware that his sibling might be getting carried away. But the mechanic’s relief can’t be dampened, and he enjoys the feeling of returning to normality, ordering a whisky chaser alongside his pint.
However, as Cain leaves the pub for home, he feels a sudden and unexpected urge to pee and heads to the side of the road. Unfortunately for Cain, he’s caught by the police and arrested for urinating in public and being drunk and disorderly.

Matters get worse when Cain’s told he’ll have to stay overnight and PC Swirling offers him some sweatpants to replace his own wet clothes. But in the morning, Cain has some explaining to do to Moira…
“Moira is livid,” continues our snoop. “Cain’s barely out of hospital and he does this to their family? Moira can’t understand why he’d risk freedom when he’s just got his life back on track.”
Unable to cope with the shame of his symptoms, Cain struggles to tell Moira the truth about why he was arrested. He clams up, but will his wife be able to get the truth out of him?

“Going forward Cain needs to be more honest,” suggests our source. “There’s bound to be future situations where he’ll be desperate for the loo and can’t find one. He’ll need his family’s support and understanding to navigate this new change in his life.”
Will Cain hide away in embarrassment over his new situation? Or will a gentle nudge from Moira encourage him to share the burden, and help him to learn a new way to cope that won’t get him banged up?
