Theo’s killer ‘confirmed’ in Coronation Street – and it’s not one of the suspects
Fans think Sam Blakeman killed Theo Silverton

Coronation Street fans think they know who killed Theo Silverton, and it’s not any of the official suspects…
Viewers will know that the ITV soap aired a special flash-forward episode earlier this year, teasing a brutal murder.
Last month, it was confirmed that the body was Theo, and now the hunt is on for his killer.
So far, police have questioned George Shuttleworth (Tony Maudsley) and Gary Windass (Mikey North), but their new prime suspect is Summer Spellman (Harriet Bibby).
Detectives Kit Green (Jacob Roberts) and Lisa Connor-Swain (Vicky Myers) noticed a damning clue in the back of her wedding photos, which they suspected could implicate Summer in the murder.
However, fans aren’t convinced they’re on the right track, and are pointing the finger further afield.

In the court of public opinion, it seems that Sam Blakeman (Jude Riordan) is the prime candidate for Theo’s killer.
Yes, that’s chess-playing, top of the class, Sam Blakeman.
Recently, Sam’s mental health has taken a serious decline, and viewers have seen him suffering a terrifying psychotic episode.
This has involved him hallucinating his neighbours, including Will Driscoll (Lucas Hodgson-Wale) and Roy Cropper (David Neilson).
Now, 24hmagazine readers have come up with a theory that the schoolboy is the one behind Theo’s murder, and it actually makes sense.
The eagle-eyed fans pointed out that Sam had appeared in the big reveal episode looking distressed – something that has yet to be addressed on the show.
With Will having been in the precinct that evening, it is entirely possible that Sam saw him there, but his hallucinations confused him, leading to him pushing Theo, thinking he was Will.
Others believe that it was Sam’s hallucination of Roy that put him up to it, and from what we’ve seen of this terrifying version of the café owner, it wouldn’t be too much of a stretch.
In recent scenes, Sam has been confiding in ‘Roy’, who has been offering advice in return.
Unfortunately, this twisted version of Roy seems to have some bloodlust, repeatedly telling Sam that they need to stand up to their enemies, as they are out to get them.
Sam’s paranoia was kicked off by vile predator Megan Walsh (Beth Nixon) earlier this year, when Sam discovered that she had been abusing Will.

In a bid to keep him quiet, Megan began messing with his grades and threatening to expose him as a creep.
Thankfully, Sam found the courage to report Megan, and she has since been arrested and charged.
However, the fact that he will likely have to appear in court as a witness has only weighed more heavily on Sam, making his already fragile mental state worse.
Will anyone notice how much Sam’s mental health has deteriorated before it’s too late? And could he really be Theo’s killer?
