Mormon Wives villain reveals he’s joining Food Network show after he’s ‘fired’ from Hulu series

A Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star revealed he’s joining a Food Network show after being axed from the Hulu series

A SECRET Lives of Mormon Wives villain is participating in a brand-new cooking series after being axed from the show.

Jordan Ngatikaura, 33, the estranged husband of Mormon Wives star Jessi Draper, 34, is already onto the next project after he and the other guys of DadTok were reportedly cut from the Hulu series.

Jason Ngatikaura announced he’s appearing in the brand-new Food Network competition show, 100 Cooks, premiering next month

The TV personality subtly announced his new gig in his Instagram bio, encouraging his followers to watch the upcoming premiere of Food Network‘s debut competition show, 100 Cooks, seemingly implying he’s one of the contestants.

According to the show’s description on the Food Network’s website, it’s the “biggest, boldest home cook competition in the network’s history.”

The series “welcomes 100 of the country’s best home cooks to run through an epic seven-week culinary gauntlet where 99 cooks will be eliminated and only one will be named America’s best home cook – and win up to $250,000.”

It is hosted by America’s Got Talent host, Terry Crews, and the contestants will be judged by famed culinary content creator Nick DiGiovanni and Food Network star Alex Guarnaschelli.

The show premieres on June 7 at 9:00 p.m. on The Food Network and is available to stream the next day on HBO Max.

Jordan has recently shared photos and videos on social media of himself cooking kid-friendly meals.

Last week, the TV star posted a reel of himself making a “surf and turf” dish for his three children: Jagger, 5; Jovi, 3; and an older daughter, Peyton.

He also shared his younger kiddo’s hilarious reaction after not loving their father’s creation.

“The kids rated dinner. I was fighting for my life. Apparently surf and turf loses points when it’s not made of sugar,” Jordan joked in his caption.

It appears that Jordan is exploring other endeavors, as Mormon Wives execs reportedly fired him and all his male co-stars from the upcoming fifth season.

According to TMZ, production sources claimed that Jordan, Dakota Mortensen, and their other male castmates may not return next season, though there are some conflicting reasons why that might be.

Some claimed that it was the men’s decision to leave the show following Taylor Frankie Paul and Dakota’s domestic violence scandal that paused production earlier this year.

Others claimed the guys refused to return unless they received more pay, while another insider alleged that producers didn’t think they were worth the added expense since the ladies run the show.

Jordan recently filed for divorce from his wife of nearly six years, Jessi Draper

Weeks before this report, Jordan claimed in a Cameo that he’d quit the show to focus on his own projects.

His wife Jessi is one of the main stars of the series, but the couple has faced many personal challenges that have forced them apart.

Jordan filed for divorce in March after nearly six years of marriage.

Shortly after, The U.S. Sun exclusively revealed that Jordan had also filed a restraining order against Jessi, which she’s countered through her attorneys.

Additionally, Jessi admitted to kissing Chase McWhorter, the ex-husband of her castmate Miranda, and has since apologized.

It came after her emotional affair with Vanderpump Villa star Marciano Brunette, which played out on Season 3 of Mormon Wives.
