FORMER EastEnders star Tony Discipline has revealed if he would return to the soap – 13 years after his exit.
The 37-year-old actor played Tyler Moon in the BBC soap from 2011 to 2013.
While he has continued to act since his soap exit, he has also retrained as a firefighter.
But despite his new career, it seems Tony isn’t against a return to EastEnders, telling The Sun on behalf of CasinoHawks: “I’ve not [been asked back yet] but never say never.
“I’d always be open to having the conversation. I loved my time there, and who knows what the future holds.”
Despite leaving the show over a decade ago, Tony still gets recognised for his time on Albert Square, even when on duty.
He said: “One moment that always sticks in my mind was when this guy’s shed in his garden was fully alight. Not only that, the fire was starting to take hold of a tree as well, which was close to the fence.
“We’re running a hose through his house and out into the garden, with the fire going mad. Suddenly he stops me and goes, ‘Oh my God, were you on EastEnders?’
“And then he completely forgets there’s a fire going on and starts asking me questions about it while I’ve literally got a hose in my hand.
“I just said, ‘Look, we can talk about this after. I think it’s probably best I go and put your shed out first!’”
Tony has been back on some EastEnders fans radars in recent weeks after cosying up with his former co-star, Shona McGarty.
Shona, 34, played Whitney Dean in the soap and her character was engaged to Tyler before he left Walford.
Last month, the former on-screen lovers enjoyed a cosy night out together at the Women’s Football Awards.
It came after the pair reunited for a snap back in March which sent soap fans wild.
