Billy Fletcher (Jay Kontzle) has been left for dead after an attack in Emmerdale – but was Joe Tate (Ned Porteous) responsible?
It’s certainly a high possibility. Just a few hours prior to us discovering what had happened to Billy, Joe had learnt about him kissing Dawn Taylor (Olivia Bromley).
The person who told Joe about what Billy had done was Caleb Miligan (William Ash).
Earlier in the day, Billy spoke to Caleb about his feelings for Dawn, and how he tried to kiss her. Billy asked his mate not to tell anyone and Caleb promised to keep quiet, but that was a huge lie.
Caleb likes Billy, but his dislike for Joe is far stronger. Because of this, he took great pleasure in telling his nephew that Dawn and Billy had shared a moment together.
To really twist the knife, Caleb claimed that Dawn and Billy are soulmates. Ouch.
At Home Farm, Joe updated Graham Foster (Andrew Scarborough), and believed that the reason Dawn didn’t tell him what happened was because she still has feelings for Billy.
Level-headed Graham suggested to Joe that he talks to Dawn, but he seemed convinced that he needed to do something other than have a conversation with his partner.
Later, Gabby Thomas (Rosie Bentham) revealed to Dawn that Billy had ended their relationship.
Dawn called her ex and left a voicemail, hoping that he didn’t end things because of what happened between them.
Unbeknownst to Dawn, Billy was lying in the middle of the depot surrounded by a pool of blood.
Has Joe got violent revenge after discovering Dawn and Billy’s secret?
Maybe Gabby has done something after being dumped?
Or was it someone else?
