Truth about Lucy’s mum’s death ‘confirmed’ in Coronation Street as admission is made
Lucy’s most certainly hiding something

A conversation that Lucy Parkinson (Anya Dewin) had with her dad Richie (Nathan Sussex) in Coronation Street today has fuelled the theory they are hiding the truth about how Rachel really died.
Earlier this year, Tim Metcalfe (Joe Duttine) arrived at his cousin Richie’s house and got the shock of his life.
As Richie opened the door, Tim realised that his shirt was covered in blood. He stepped into the house, and then discovered that Richie’s partner Rachel was dead.
Richie was taken to prison for murdering his wife, and their teenage daughter Lucy moved in with Tim, Sally Metcalfe (Sally Dynevor) and the Michaelis siblings.
Tim and Sally have found it incredibly challenging to manage Lucy’s behaviour. If the youngster feels as though she’s not being heard, or someone is speaking badly about her dad, she reacts with anger.
Lucy felt triggered once more in today’s episode, as Sally found some of her artwork. The drawing was of a woman screaming, and Sally wondered if it was Lucy’s mum.
The teen saw red. She grabbed the drawing, shouted at Sally, and then threw a phone at her.
This entire incident left Sally with the conclusion that she and Tim are not equipped to deal with Lucy. Tim didn’t agree, and the clash he had with Sally meant he was forced to sleep on the sofa that evening.
In the middle of the night, while Tim slept, Lucy headed downstairs for some water. Her phone then buzzed, and she was surprised to see it was her dad.
Lucy told Richie about what happened with Sally, and how she thinks there is ‘something bad inside’ of her.
The teen then said, ‘what if I’d done to her what I did to mum?’, but what exactly was Lucy referring to?
Richie reassured his daughter, telling Lucy that what happened was Rachel’s fault.
This, coupled with the fact Richie and Lucy previously spoke about sticking to a story, most certainly suggests that Richie isn’t meant to be in prison.
Did Lucy kill her mum?
